1.  Number of teams to be reported to IISHF – NMA reporting.

We kindly remind all National Member Associations (NMAs) to the new contents of article § 11.12 -

• 11.14 IISHF Constitution as agreed on the AGM 2023.
• 11.12 The number of teams in accordance to article 11.11 IISHF Constitution shall include the inline skater hockey teams which will be registered in that country for the previous year and shall be reported with the form sheet ”IISHF Annual NMA Reporting” by each National Member Association including a detailed team list for all age groups with the name of all registered clubs and teams for the previous year no later than 31^st December of that previous year to IISHF headquarters. Registered teams are only teams who participated that previous year at the domestic/regional championship or any other official competition in that country or any IISHF European Cup that previous year.

The relevant NMA must provide for all registered teams verifiable evidence of their participation. The IISHF Presidium will decide about the recognition of registered teams based on the provided verifiable evidence – in case of disagreement the Council of Members will make the final decision about the recognition.

• 11.13 If no report and/or no detailed team list and/or no verifiable evidence has been given by 31^st December deadline, the relevant NMA shall get a reminder with a late report period until 15^th January to provide the missing information.

If no report and/or no detailed team list and/or no verifiable evidence has been given by 15^th January, the number of registered teams shall be finally fixed with 49 teams or less for that year and no change of voting rights shall be done for that calendar year.

• 11.14 Any missing or wrong reporting and/or providing verifiable evidence for registered teams shall result to IISHF Disciplinary Action.

• Attached Form Sheet “IISHF Annual NMA Reporting 2023”.
• Detailed Team List of all registered clubs and teams for all age groups for the year 2023 (Please take care that only teams can be listed who participated in 2023 at the domestic/regional championship or any other official competition in your country or any IISHF European Cup in 2023.
• Verifiable evidence (e.g. official final league tables) of the participation of all relevant teams according to point 2).

Attached please find the Excel file: “IISHF Annual NMA Reporting Template 2023” which should be used for the feedback (to point 1)). There are three (3) sheets in the Excel file: Summary Sheet, Data, and Explanations. Please read first the sheet “Explanations”. The reporting is done by editing the work sheets “Data” and “Summary Sheet” and only in the cells that unlocked for editing. Certain tabulations are conducted automatically and the respective cells are, therefore, blocked for manual editing. The sheet “Backend” is not to be used in the reporting as such (it’s for internal use).

In addition to the mandatory reporting of clubs and teams by 31.12.2023 we would like to kindly ask you to provide the information requested on rinks, players, referees and officials. 2.  IISHF Title Events 2024

After the official deadline of 30.11.2023 to apply for hosting of IISHF Title Events 2024 has passed, the IISHF Presidium has finally sanctioned the following IISHF Title Events 2024:

We are very glad to this number of Title Events to take place in 2024 and thank all the hosting clubs for their willingness to host a title event.

Other Continental Cups 2024 and/or Continental Championships 2024 will not take place.

3.  Deadline for NMA team feedback 2023

According to § 18.1 IISHF Regulations each National Member Association (NMA) must inform the IISHF latest on the 15.12 of each year (official deadline according to § 3.7 IISHF Regulations).

1. for Club Teams in the age category of U13, U16, U19 the Team names, contact person, full team list (including gender, license number and birth year and contact address (e-mail) of the
   • National Champion
   • National Vice Champion (as possible Back-Up
   • Third Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
   • Fourth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
   • Fifth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
   • Any Host with Wild Card
2. for Men and Women Club Teams the Team names, contact person and contact address (email) of the:

• National Champion
• National Vice Champion (as possible Back-Up)
• Third Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
• Fourth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
• Fifth Place Team (as possible Back-Up)
• the five eligible teams for the Men Challenge Cup
• Defending European Cup Title Holder (only Men European Cup, Women European Cup and Veterans European Cup)
• Any Host with Wild Card

1. for the National Teams names, contact person and contact address (e-mail) of each national

 National Member Associations not giving information according to article 18.1 a) and/or article 18.1

18. b) and/or article 1. c) IISHF Regulations until the deadline 15.12.2023 will get a fine according to article 3.7 IISHF Regulations and lose their right to take part with teams at the relevant European Cup.

4.   Deadline to confirm participation in IISHF European Cups 2024

Regarding the IISHF European Cups (Club Teams) according to § 18.1 and § 18.3 IISHF Regulations all Teams must confirm within three (3) weeks upon request by IISHF Communication Letter if they will officially take part. Each confirmation must be given and signed by the relevant National Member Association on the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” provided by the IISHF – please find it attached to this Communication Letter. National Member Associations not returning the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” or not giving the requested feedback within the 3-weeks deadline will get a fine for each missing team feedback according to § 3.7 IISHF Regulations and the relevant team also loses their right to take part at this European Cup 2024.

The need for feedback also applies for all National Vice Champions 2023, Defending Champions, Wild Card Teams, Host Teams and Backup Teams (a total of minimum 5 teams if fewer teams please report - that there is no extra team) who might qualify for 2024. Please ensure that the information about the participation 2024 of all your Club Teams will be given to IISHF (office@iishf.com).

Deadline for reply is then 22.12.2023. In the event of a National Champion declining the place, the place will in the first instance be offered to that National Member Associations Vice Champion if they do not already have a place.

Attached please find the ranking order for the following IISHF Title Events:

• Men European Cup
• Men Challenge Cup

• Women European Cup
• U19 European Cup
• U16 European Cup
• U13 European Cup

Please inform your relevant teams immediately about the ranking.

5.  Deadline to confirm participation in IISHF European Championships 2024

Regarding the European Championships (National Teams) according to § 18.12 IISHF Regulations each National Member Association must confirm to IISHF within three (3) weeks after the announcement if they will officially take part. Please ensure that the final information about the participation 2024 of your Men and U19 National Team will be given to IISHF (office@iishf.com).

Deadline for reply is then 22.12.2023.

Each confirmation must be given and signed by the relevant National Member Association on the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” provided by the IISHF – please find it attached to this Communication Letter. National Member Associations not returning the “IISHF Title Event Confirmation Sheet” or not giving the requested feedback within the 3-weeks deadline will get a fine for each missing team feedback according to § 3.7 IISHF Regulations and the relevant team also loses their right to take part at this European Championships 2024 at the regular rate.
