1. Updated IISHF Live Streaming Support Package 2024
We have updated our IISHF provisions for live streaming and include that a neutral commenting is necessary and that the hosting club must check this carefully selecting the commentators. In case of breach payment deductions can be made according to the updated IISHF Live Streaming Support Package 2024 (attached).
Regarding commentary on the live streams at IISHF Title Events we must ensure that there is a neutrality in the commentating on any games where there is active commentary during a live stream so as not to cause any offence or cause for complaint by any spectator as this could affect the percentage of the live stream support package on offer by IISHF.
Attached please find the updated IISHF Live Streaming Package covering 2024 as approved at the IISHF AGM 2024. The regulated Budget for 2024 with livestreaming at IISHF Title Events is 3.500 Euro based on 7 events with estimated 500 Euro per event. Please note that the total expenses for live streaming will be subject to change if events are cancelled or postponed.
2. Crash Eagles Kaarst from Germany won the IISHF U19 European Cup 2024
Eagles nest in the Bear Cave and take the IISHF U19 European Cup 2024 title.
With both teams topping their respecitve groups each team had a well rested morning, however, neither team had an easy semi final. The blue and white Bears took their game to overtime with a 1 - 0 win against IHC Atting, whilst Crash Eagles Kaarst decided on an equally dramatic finish scoring the first goal of their game with just 11 seconds left on the clock when they face SHC Rossemaison and then a game sealing empty net goal taking a 2 - 0 victory in the dying seconds.
As the final started, not a spare rock avaialble in the cave for spectators to sit and watch the exillerating fight between the two teams.
The Bears with razor sharp claws, the Eagles with their deadly talons... Neither side wanting to give however... Eagles left the first period 2 goals up.. Extending the lead in the second period before giving away a penalty shot late in the game.
Eagles secure the win with an empty net goal taking the game with a final result 4 - 1.
