This Championship is Germany’s 11th Title in the history of the IISHF Men European Championship, the first under its new Head Coach Christian Keller. Germany has won a total of 19 Medals (11 Gold, 7 Silver and 1 Bronze) in 21 editions of this Title Event.
Being the back-to-back Champion for the years 2018, 2019 Switzerland secured its 17 Medal in the history of this event (7 Gold, 6 Silver, 4 Bronze).
Denmark earned its 14 Medal (2 Gold, 5 Silver, 7 Bronze) at the Men European Championships. Alike 2014 it saw itself beat by Germany in the Gold Medal Game.
The Fair Play Cup was won by Germany (28 penalty minutes on 6 games).
