CL 2022-21 provides information on the Men and U19 European Championships in 2023. All teams must confirm their participation until 29.12.2022
1. IISHF U19 European Championships 2023
The IISHF Presidium has decided that Shadows Amstetten (Austria) will host the IISHF U19 European Championships 2023. The event will take place on 1-3 September 2023 in Amstetten/Lower Austria (Austria) as sanctioned by the IISHF Presidium. Games will be played Saturday and Sunday with the possibility of games Friday evening and an Opening Ceremony on Friday.
2. IISHF Men European Championships 2023
The IISHF Presidium has decided that SHC Givisiez Skater 95 (Switzerland) will host the IISHF Men European Championships 2023. The event will take place on 16-19 November 2023 in Givisiez (Swizerland) as sanctioned by the IISHF Presidium. Games will be played on 3 days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Opening Ceremony might take place Thursday evening.
3. Deadline to confirm participation in IISHF European Championships 2023
Regarding the European Championships (National Teams) according to article 18.12 IISHF Regulations each National Member Association must confirm to IISHF within three (3) weeks after the announcement if they will officially take part. Please ensure that the final information about the participation 2023 of your Men and U19 National Team will be given to IISHF (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). The normal 3 weeks deadline has been extended by the IISHF Presidium to 29.12.2022.
Deadline for reply is then 29th December 2022 (3 weeks extended to 4 weeks).
