CL 2022-19 informs about updated tournament regulations and time schedule for the IISHF Open Men European Championships due to the visa applications of the National of India being denied by the German Consulate in Mumbai, India.
1. India not participating at the Open Men European Championships
India has unfortunately not been granted an approved visa to travel to Germany and with very short notice they have to cancel their participation in the Open Men European Championships taking place in Duisburg, Germany on 4-6.11.2022. This is a very sad situation for India, IISHF and the hosting club Duisburg Ducks and the German Federation. The Open Men European Championships will now take place as the Men European Championships with 5 participating countries (Austria, Denmark, Germany, Great Britain and Switzerland).
